Unlike other foodbanks, it doesn\u2019t use a referral system and is open daily to any family in need, providing a three-day emergency supply of food, baby products and toiletries.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1060px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-24044-1\" width=\"1060\" height=\"596\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ambinsurance.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2019\/05\/Final-AMb-Video-with-Subtitles.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ambinsurance.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2019\/05\/Final-AMb-Video-with-Subtitles.mp4\">https:\/\/www.ambinsurance.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2019\/05\/Final-AMb-Video-with-Subtitles.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>At amb, we truly support the work that the Alice Charity do and the difference they\u2019re making to local families in need of support. We decided we wanted to do more for the charity in order to make it as easy as possible for others to donate food and other supplies.<\/p>\n<p>We came up with the idea of designing sturdy, re-usable foodbank boxes and handing them out to local businesses with all necessary contact and donation details printed on the box. The Alice Charity then collect the items when the boxes are full.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row row_type=&#8221;row&#8221; use_row_as_full_screen_section=&#8221;no&#8221; type=&#8221;grid&#8221; text_align=&#8221;left&#8221; background_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1549379972164{padding-top: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1620287605599{padding-bottom: 40px !important;}&#8221;]<span style=\"font-size: 36pt;color: #9c1e81\">What can you do to help?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alicecharity.com\/peoples-pantry\/\">The People\u2019s Pantry<\/a> isn\u2019t funded so is solely dependent on donations. Without support from volunteers, and donations from the public, the foodbank wouldn\u2019t be able to continue the great work that they do. They\u2019re always in need of dried, tinned or boxed long-life products, just avoid donating fresh food or open, broken and out-of-date items.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 960px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-24044-2\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ambinsurance.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2019\/02\/Alice-Video.mp4?_=2\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ambinsurance.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2019\/02\/Alice-Video.mp4\">https:\/\/www.ambinsurance.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2019\/02\/Alice-Video.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>You can either donate directly to the People\u2019s Pantry if you\u2019re a business, store one of our boxes in your office or staff room. To request a box, email <a href=\"mailto:info@ambinsurance.co.uk\">info@ambinsurance.co.uk<\/a>.
