  • Building insurance covers the cost to repair or rebuild the building in which you work from in the event of property damage. This cover can be both premises which you own or improvements you have made to the premises you have made (tenants improvements)
  • Stock, Contents / Fixtures & Fittings and Money Insurance – This covers you in the event that it is stolen, damaged or destruction of any loss of stock, contents or money on the premises.
  • Equipment Breakdown covers broken machinery/equipment such as point-of-sale computer systems, taps, refrigerators, and ovens or fryers.
  • Business Interruption covers the cost of all the income lost as a result of the business not being able to function normally, often brought by a disaster or a material damage to the premises such as fire, flood or theft. This will cover your loss of income for both the time the premises are closed and or losses up to when the premises are 100% back to normal trading volumes.
  • Employers Liability (compulsory if you have employees) covers the cost of claims brought about by illness or injury to the employees in the course of their employment
  • Public Liability covers the cost of claims brought against a company by a third party whilst on the premises, so if a customers has a slip trip or fall at your premises you may be liable for this injury and any costs that may relate to this including damages, A public liability insurance cover will cover you in the event of this type of incident (subject to terms and conditions).
  • Products Liability covers the cost of claims caused by a product made or distributed by the businesses, so think micro brewery or home made food
  • All Risks covers specified items when they are away from the work premises, when they are damaged or stolen.
